Heavily Influenced by one of the most prominent chord progressions in music, the blues has given Z a baseline for her career. Z captures the essence of her sound through a distinctive form with lyric, phase and chord structure which emanates the authenticity and honesty she breathes into every project she touches. Z has many collaborations on her career playlist, which saw her fist single release ‘Higher’ (2020) gain rave reviews and featured in Rolling Stone as ‘Video of the Week’. Previously, a finalist out of 500 entrants, in the Australian 'Battle of the Bands Hard Rock Cafe’ International Competition in 2019.

 

In her own words, Z shares “My journey connects with our human experience and existence - the yin and yang of life. I share the balance of my light and dark sides through the universal connection of music. My light side connects to the child within, a light, fun, joyous and airy side of me. My dark side connects to the sexy, seductive and mysterious side of my divine feminine. Both sides complex, soulful & melodic, at vast contrast, yet so harmonious.”
